UnTextbook

My mind changes more frequently than Oklahoma wind, so this semester I am planning on reading whatever stories that my brain is interested in reading at that moment.  Currently, American Indian Tales seems like a good read.  My good friend Jeremy is Native American, and he has told me a couple of stories that his grandfather told him.  I have always been intrigued by the Native American culture.  Especially their Bigfoot tales!  The next topic might be Beowulf.  My first date was my sophomore year of high school with Josh Dan.  He took me to the movies and let me pick.  There was some gangster movie or Beowulf.  I thought I made the right choice, but Beowulf was bloody and inappropriate.  It would be fun to read the story again.  Buddha!  A good friend of mine was very much interested in Buddhism when we were in high school.  At the time I was not allowed to appreciate it.  My family is at home in the Bible belt.  The religion seems peaceful.  I need peaceful.  I once listened to a podcast about an Eskimo girl who was taken away from her family.  She described her tribe being so isolated.  They must have lovely folk tales. I also need to know what the creature below is. Is it a lizard? I guess I'll find out.
